MGG Law is currently looking for one (1) Accounting Staff who shall be in charge of the following: (i) encoding/recording of collections made; (ii) encoding/recording of expenses incurred or payments made; (iii) encoding of expenses/advances chargeable to clients; (iv) preparation of monthly report on receivables through aging of accounts; (v) follow up of collections or payments from clients; and (vi) preparation of monthly bank reconciliation reports. MGG Law is currently looking for one (1) staff in the docket/paralegal department who shall ensure that: (i) lawyers’ notarial files are properly maintained and timely reported, (ii) individual account/client folders/dockets are properly kept and filed in proper areas following the Firm numbered filing system, (iii) all files/documents for filing are filed as soon as instructed by lawyers for filing, (iv) all pleadings and documents for sending out are properly and timely served/delivered, and (v) assist in maintaining and monitoring the firm's database systems. Legal interns will be exposed to various fields of practice, including court observations and other skills that are only learned in actual practice. They also have the benefit of working with partners of the firm as their mentors.
